I thought you had to input the 2nd button on the Oil Slide, when it connected. Good stuff:}
-
This is great! Now if we can get him some decent defense against air attacks lol
-
can you cancel a forward dash with a normal?
-
@xanyleon standing fierce is pretty good. has a pretty good range and does a lot of damage
-
@xanyleon Yeah, I am just getting started utilizing that. It's a different technique. Hakan can be a beast, I think.
-
@namordecai Thanks for the advice :D I also like the way that after putting oil on you can move left and right when doing the focus attack.
-
@xanyleon The best is to either jump m punch+oil slide as they land (it's a great combo) or air throw. That forces them to start swinging too early, so you can oil slide underneath their jumps as they try to adapt. (I have 4000 BP and 2000 PP at last count). His standing h punch is often good also. It's quick. I've been beating people with 6000-7000 BP at times. Still learning, though.

If someone does a jump attack at you what is the best move to stop the attack connecting as I noticed Hakan doesn't seem to have any proper anti-air moves... Or does he?
-
Can you teach me about using oil dive (360 kick)on turtles?
like when they show an opening for the attack.

Thank you so much! Your the best, man. Totally Subbing
Is there a drawback if you input the followup and the slide whiffs?
wilerson 1 year ago
@wilerson no, the only drawback is that it makes so you can't focus cancel out of the slide. you can input either the followup or the focus early in the slide, but it's only either/or, you can't do both. so if there's any chance that the slide won't actually hit, don't input the followup right away, wait until you see that the slide hits before deciding to do the followup or the focus cancel.

do you lose oil by dancing? or only by a whiff or a hit?
xillpeonyoux 1 year ago
@xillpeonyoux neither, it's just a time limit and each strength of oil lasts a different amount of time
