Oh man, this brings back so many good memories of Wind Ensemble. It was like everyone's part was a blast to play, I know my clarinet part was awesome. I just wish our conductor was that cute!

what's with the beat placement? Conducting in 4 has a very strict placement, whereas I see your beat 3 is in your beat 2 area many times. I too believe in showing music, as opposed to time beating, but if you are doing time beating at times, it should be in the right direction (serves no purpose to conduct in opposite direction and may be misleading). Just a thought. :-) Nice performance though.

I'm curious to know what level these performers are. I assume it's possibly a high school band. Despite the poor sound quality of the recording, seems to be a fairly well executed performance at this level.

@TheAlyssionHarte That's right. Go to Youtube and throw around your egotistical "I'm better than you are" attitude. Someday when you learn that you aren't as fabulously amazing as you think you are, you'll come back and kick yourself. Your job as a musician is not to criticize and demean other musicians. Maybe someday you'll grow up.

My Wind Ensemble is playing this, and oh gosh, changing from bass clarinet to contrabass clarinet for the last note, a struggle, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT. I fricking love this piece. I think my favourite so far out of my three years of high school.

This band was good and played it with flare and joy.I heard the joy in there playing.They didn't miss a note.I enjoyed this a lot with a big smile on my face.Whoever is the director and band are ,they need to step up and be counted for their performance.

There's a lot of cracking in the recording but the band played this music with flare.I loved the French horns with all of the triplets,the whole band this real good for me .The tempo was great and hearing this from the tuba's area was super.A lot of static,but I enjoyed this band, Good work KIDS AND DIRECTOR.
