I was suprised that you didn't mention my favorite part of the movie, the parody of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict... "So we're the bad guys?... I'm just saying, it's not so cut and dry!" Stuff like that kept me rolling throughout the movie. And I totally agree about Rob Schneider - especially because he is a Jew playing an Arab. For me it was the cultural context that carried the movie through the lame jokes you mentioned. At least it did for me. That, and Emmanuelle Chriqui... sigh!!!
