I love these songs by The Moody Blues, Declan Galbraith and Il Divo so much that they inspired me to make this slideshow of my pics of my Nice-Niece's daughters and, in the last song, of my own daughter growing up, with some added pics taken by her high school friends......I first learned of "side-light" as a student at the U.S. Navy School of Photography, NAS Pensacola, Florida (Home of the Blue Angels.)......I then practiced the art of "side" light as a "Scientific and Technical Photographer with Aerial Certification" (Aircrew) at the "Winter Home of the Blue Angels" in southern California......The use of "side" light is necessary because it brings out details of a "scientific and technical nature" for civilian and military Engineers that would not otherwise be recorded on film using "FLAT" light......"FLAT" light is the type of lighting caused when the sun or "main light source" is BEHIND the camera or ON the camera, as in a camera-mounted flash......Bear in mind that "FLAT" light makes the face look "FAT," "FLAT" and "WIDE...!!!"......I call the slideshow "Amazing Grace" because these beautiful faces and sunlit smiles remind me so much of ACTUAL "Amazing Grace!"......Anyone who knows me knows that I love to give gifts.....To me, "ACTUAL" Amazing Grace is the World's Greatest Gift by which OUR Creator and of heaven and earth sent His Only Begotten Son to die for our sins, thereby creating the privilege of "born again believers" to spend all of eternity in HIS Heavenly Home......This "GIFT" of a Heavenly Home is "FREE" (which is why it is a "GIFT" obtained only by "FAITH AND BELIEF" and not something one can attain by "WORKS") to any and all who will but "BELIEVE...!!!"......I feel it an honor to be able to document the rising and setting sun shining "ACROSS" (thus, "SIDE" light) these beautiful faces and smiles because they represent, to me, the invisible Heavenly Angels walking among us here on earth.....Thank you for the pleasure of your company as we journey along the path to some of the most beautiful sunlit smiles you will see in this lifetime..... : ) geraldalann @ gmail dot com
