@souljahfree27 Children shouldn't see it because several of the themes in it (sex scenes, language, crime) are inappropriate for children to watch, regardless of whether the character are gay or straight, hence the rating (15). Surely the more films like this are accepted to mainstream the better - it was clever, witty, sad and heart warming. And that's from a person who usually feels quite ill at phrases like "heart warmng".
Actors act. That's the point. And i thought they were tremendous.

@Marshmellowed See the problem is, Jim Carrey is has a huge fanbase of children. And in all reality, a movie like this being watched by children is something to worry about. It will confuse the shit out of them. And Jim Carrey seriously surprised me by taking a role like this. It's almost as if he is completely desperate. I lost some respect for him by making this movie.

i just saw the movie today and omg i loved it, is so wonderful how he does everything he can to be with Phillip n this guys r so talented i think they look more in love than straight couples :D

This looks like it's either going to be really really good or monumentally bad. I'm desperately hoping it's the former!
Aparantly this film recieved some critisism from the US over the gay sex scenes deeming them "unnecissary" ...funny how no one ever kicks up a fuss about gratuitous straight sex scenes. Bloody hypocrits.
