If this is done correctly and corruption is fought fiercely. This could even be a stepping stone to a real utopian society. For if the entire world would have democracy as there governmental system and communism as there economical system, there wouldn't even be a need for money. Thus there wouldn't be such things as hunger or poverty.
Maybe I'm just a dreamer, but to me this looks like the only way.

MIGHT DEMOCRATIC COMMUNISM BE THE SOLUTION?
This entails that the means of production would be controlled and owned by the entire population and that political power would be in the hands of the people, through direct democracy!
