Electric Motor

This is an Electric Motor i made the center piece moves off the two magnets on either side of it. It gets power by the coils on the two side magnets routed from the clamp pieces one side to the mangnet coils and the other to the brass piece on top to help it keep spinning all you need is a battery with started cables or whatver u prefer to power it.

I have to make one of these for my grade 11 physics class and I was wondering if the permanent magnets are both the same or opposite (ie. north north or south north)?

I, I am nit a Electriction but if you make a good enough alternator you have a Self propelling recharging neverstoping friction ignored motor!

very cool. good sound as well. if you made electric cars people will bye then because it sound like gas motor :) :)
