Why does everyone compare the RAF Regiment with other infantry units eg The Parachute Regiment/ Royal Marines?
They are all infantry units but their roles are different. The RAF Regiment are a DEFENSIVE unit, tasked with protecting the RAF and it's assets, and defending the base.
Thr Royal Marines etc, are an offensive unit tasked with tackling the insurgency head on.
STOP COMPARING THEM, THEY'RE DIFFERENT!
