iPhone 4 TomTom GPS Navigation 3G Streaming Pandora

A quick demo of driving while streaming audio live from Pandora on 3G and multitasking with Tom Tom Turn by Turn Navigation app. Audio mixing is very well done. This is a viable and indeed very nice navigation solution.

Update:
After a few weeks of driving with this system on familiar and unfamiliar roads alike, I am very happy with the performance, accuracy and usability. The iPhone 4's GPS/Compass and Accelerometer give a very good read on your location. TomTom used to suffer from inferior maps, but I think their data is much improved now.

Here is the car mount I use. It acts as a handsfree phone, charger and audio interface to your car stereo all in one. My car has a line in audio input to the stereo system. I've had better call quality with this than bluetooth devices.

There is also an FM transmitter model, but really those things never work well unless you live in a rural area with few FM stations.

I refuse to buy TOMTOM because Mapquest Mobile does the exact same thing for free...

@Jamieak1fan TomTom is an actual self contained navigation app with all the maps on the phone. Navigation works even if you are in the middle of nowhere with no signal. I would imagine many other things work a lot better with TomTom as well, such as the actual lanes of the freeway being mapped out -- it tells you what lane to get in. I doubt mapquest does that!
