Hristo Stoichkov was a great player i am a big fan, butt to me Krassimir Balakov was better. Balakov was a true legend in portugal butt portugal isn't a major championship butt, in sporting Lisbon I see players like Futre,Figo,Simão,Quaresma,Cris tiano Ronaldo and etc.... Butt Krassimir Balakov was the best we teach Figo to play football greetings from Portugal.
I had the honour of seeing Hristo Stoichkov play for Bulgaria Vs Spain at Elland Road during Euro 96. He was amazing, his touch and skill was outstanding and although at this time he was not the most mobile, his brain was always thinking two moves ahead. Great player.
