Yakima BoatLoader Lift-Assist (8004018) review video & demo by ORS Racks Direct. Demonstration movie of the Yakima Racks Boat Loader showing features including that it inserts into a Yakima base rack system round bar (compatible with Yakima round cross bars only) and simply extends out when you are ready to lift your canoe or kayak up onto the vehicle rooftop. Place one end of boat onto Yakima BoatLoader bar and let the device do the heavy lifting as you pick up the other end of the boat and place it onto the canoe rack or kayak rack (Yakima BoatLoader works great with assisting in loading your boat onto all types of roof mount canoe racks and kayak racks). When you are finished just retract Boat Loader bar back into the Yakima crossbar. This is a great loading aid to enable one person to mount a canoe or kayak onto a car roof top.
