Wow, so a big factor in Rush's reasoning in rejecting claims of anthropogenic climate change is because of his personal religious beliefs? That is scary. Also, his justification for it is completely illogical. Human progress absolutely depends on the exploitation and destruction of other species. Massive deforestation for farmland, eliminating predatory species in areas we choose to live, fishing to the point of depleting fish populations, etc. are ways we negatively impact other species.

I love how people think he tells the truth. Global warming has been PROVEN. By SCIENTISTS. From ALL OVER THE WORLD. Not just America. You don't have to like it, but you do have to accept it. I certainly don't like it...you can't just choose to believe what has been proven just because you don't want to believe it's true. 1+1=2. It's proven. I'm not completely a troll... I really do like to listen to this guy because I find it amusing.

So Rush believes that God, the big "daddy" who loves us unconditionally, would bail humanity out if we were, indeed, causing global warming? Then this gives us license for us do anything we want to the environment, because God will be there to bail us out in the end. What's even more disturbing is that he wouldn't had said that on air if there weren't millions of listeners that believe the same thing.
