You know what I think the Mavs really lack? Should they have won the series vs. my Spurs? I think so yes, however, after the game 2 loss, the Mavericks seemed more interested in showing who is tougher physically. When that didn't seem to intimidate the Spurs, they completely lost it. If the Mavs ever want to be champions, they should start acting like it and play the damn game. This goes for the Mavs fan base as well. Respect will get you far. Lead by example, not muscle.

Hey man, you're not giving the spurs enough credit. Everyone says "they're so old", well yeah that might be true, but so was Bill Russell and the legendary celtics franchise when they won their 11th championship in 13 years. And plus, the spurs right now have an amazing franchise. Don't forget they recently won 4 championships in 9 years, not as impressive as the celtics back then, but they are truly talented, and have always been able to show up in the playoffs
