Airborne Red Horse Demonstration
2004 AirPower Over Hampton Roads
Langley AFB, Virginia
Friday May 22, 2004
IN THIS VIDEO, watch as a C-17 Globemaster III and a C-130 Hercules take part in an Airborne Red Horse Demonstration. This demonstration brings in soldiers to an airfield to help repair a runway that has been bombed and so that Allied/Coalition forces can use it for staging operations.
Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .
@campbelj83 God, I freakin hate that sound, and my base tests it every Wednesday.

the audio at 1:15 gives me the chills, if you ever spent time on a base in Iraq you would know why!

This was a great part of the 04 show. I arrived just as it was starting. Funny though, as Langley AFB is sounding Air Raid Sirens tonight due to War Games. They sound exactly like these in the video.

They should still have this at this airshow.
