@vlad1000 Hi, I know..it's a two part problem
1) most hosts limit the speed test speed at their server.
2) I need a more powerful processor to be able to record screen and speed test at the same time, the speed test alone uses all CPU capacity.
Most we ever recorded on download was around 750Mb and around 400Mb Up

a little slow for 1GB no???? 249Mbits is not quite close to 1GB no?

To be fair with all the speed test, my processing power is at it's limit when I run these speeds, in addition to this I am also recording my screen at the same time.
Basically, what I usually get is approx 10-20% higher speeds than indicated on the meter.
you can connect to cunaxa.ca and run a speed test directly from my server.
