awesome combo!
shotgun with precision-mode rulez up to 20 meters and pistols make the rest. if there are no pistols, take mashine gun. :) but try playing the SCAR as often as possible, it's the most awesome gun in the game. :D

I say all of the above but if only could choose 1 it would be the machine gun, id prefer a rocket launcher b/c i love to blow shit up in games, BJ have you ever played Black for PS2? i have that one. its a FPS with a military/war theme

Any specific reason, or do you just have a genral dislike of Halo gmaes?

it's just boring to me. nothing but a completely standard FPS. I perfer stuff like Crysis or F.E.A.R. that ads a little extra element to the game. Halo is just run n gun, with horrible vehicle controls to boot!
Plus i'm more of a fan of single player campaign mode rather than online versus stuff, and the halo campaigns are a yawn-fest to me.
