fuck all your stupid arguments ^^ so what if he can't read or write music ??? he was and still is one of the most gifted talents on this planet to grab a fuckin' guitar !
Hendrix couldn't read and write and still is respected to be one of the best guitarists ever. there are dudes that just simply can feel music,there's no decription to it. if you feel music inside you,you don't have to read or write it - 'cuz you don't even need it !!!
and as it happens to be Mr Page is one of them.

@pbmcgann How many times does it take for me to tell you people that JP doesn't write or read music..This is a known fact..Look it up your self. Just cause you are studio musician doesn't mean you can read and write music.. I 'am very much aware of JP's studio background. Studio musicians are able to get along just fine without having this ability..

@lestmbly jimmy page, before starting led zeppelin, was one of the most sought after studio musicians in britain - not just for rock music, but all genres. being a studio musician means not only being able to read music, but to sit down and perform a composition flawlessly while reading it for the first time. just a small fact check.
