http://macmost.com/. Gary Rosenzweig takes a look at the Otterbox Defender for iPhone 3G. This rugged case protects from drops and scratches. It is probably the ultimate protection from an iPhone.

  • does the clear screen supose to be kinda loose, like if you run you finger is not straight and smooth, if that makes any sense

  • I've moved on to another Otterbox model a long time ago, but I don't remember having any issues with the screen protector.

  • Why does the belt clip lock open????

  • So it can stand upright on your desk.

  • Is it any plastic or something protecting the applelogo?

  • Yes. There is a clear film over the logo and the camera, as well as the whole front screen.

  • wait, did you peel off the film before you put the phone in. if you did, then did you put a screen protector on it? cuz that might be the case as well. but if you peeled the film off and didn't put a screen protector i don't know what is wrong lol.

  • @dude846 haha

  • mine didnt make a bubble cause i put on a screen shild first

  • I have the case if that was for me. The belt clip is the only fragile part of this setup. Since my last post it snapped clean off when someone bumped me wrong"as I said before" and it fell to the ground on the clip breaking it. Love the case still but not willing to buy another just for the holster.

  • what are you talking about "it comes out of the case", the case clips together...i've through my phone against the wall and it still works.

  • @Trentinja88 Yes but consider that many providers who previously offered accidental damage insurance discontinued it when they started offering the IPhone, so now I have a $700 phone that if I break or lose I will have to pay the full retail price to get replaced. I don't know about you but sacrificing a bit of sleekness for peace of mind is well worth it and besides the Defender looks very sexy on my 3Gs.
