Most people may think packaging pretty boring but it possibly effects your life more than you really imagine!

Central and Eastern European Packaging examines the packaging industry throughout this region, but in particular in the largest regional economies which are Russia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria. That is not to say that the other countries are forgotten, they are not, but obviously there is less going on. However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region. Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!

About 85 kilometers north of Gaviota is a similar Monarch colony at Pismo Beach. The Pismo Beach colony is very close to the ocean, so you can view the butterflies and then wade into the surf and dig out some delicious Pismo clams!

@longlat39 I read up on the Monarch Butterfly and its migration with a view of writing something above but in the end I did not bother! I think you would want to cook those clams first though!

Alan, have you ever read Victor Davis Hanson? He's a military historian. His specialty is ancient Greece but his expertise is wide and varied. His ancestors were California pioneers. He's written extensively on the history of California agriculture that I think you might find interesting. Check him out. You will not regret it. His military lectures are fabulous. I know that is right up your alley. Check them out on Youtube.
