Who was that idiot laughing in the first clip saying he doesn't know what Peter Schiff is talking about?? Does anyone know that guy's name?

free market capitalism??? WHERE THE FUCK IS IT???
-
If government had no authority (i.e. followed the Constitution) to not give out freebies to said capitalists, there would be no one trying to use or bribe politicians. Why would anyone try to bribe someone who is so powerless?
Capitalists would have to *gasp* make a profit pleasing their fellow man and delivering an excellent product or service. I know.. a ridiculous proposition as it stands now. But for a 100 years of our country's life, that was nearly our system.

Sovereign debt was probably a banker's idea. Governments are non-profit institutions. The idea that a government will return 1.23 for every dollar it receives without raising taxes with twenty three percent is downright criminal. The idea must also highly lucrative for investors which explains why government bond markets exist.

Free markets would be recommendable if capitalists stayed out of politics. Everywhere you go around the world, examples can be found of businesses using politicians to cheat commendable. Why can't they just pay taxes and stop trying to get contracts or try to get legislators to pass legislation that puts competitors and consumers at a disadvantage. So, you know, drop dead with that 'free market' crap.

Even Schiff doesn't know how to micromanage the economy. But he's the best economist out there,, Peter Schiff is a genius!

Keep the FED as long as Schiff runs it.

just people watch the 30 minute clip here "i.o.u.s.a." ... there they explain your current situation pretty clearly... especially all the YOUNG people there pay attention. You need better leaders and guys like Schiff who think with common sense are the ones you need in charge!
-
nicely illustrated
It's nice to see Schiff treated with some respect and receive some justification for a change.
On the other hand, the main message from the MSNBC people was "Yea, you're right but I doubt anyone is yet willing to listen."
It's a real shame that in this post-modern society so many believe that we can deconstruct and examine the past, but we can't draw any truths from it. With even the MSM promoting this attitude, no wonder this country has been gripped by apathy as the roof caves in on us.
