Das Zählrohr enthält verdünnte Luft und Feuerzeugbenzin-Dampf als Löschgas. Die Betriebsspannung liegt bei ca. 1200 V. Siehe http://www.b-kainka.de/bastel76.htm
I like the tiny13-based ion chamber too. I built a similar integrating/counting picoammeter using a reed relay and a MOSFET recently. Using a reed relay to reset the capacitor voltage lets you have very low leakages.
Always wanted to homebrew a GM tube, didn't think it would be that easy. For some time I have wanted to build large planar geometry counters for cosmic ray experiments. The relatively simple method used to make this tube gives me hope I can make one myself, and eventually a spark chamber.
Wieder ein super Video :-) Ich bin über den Elektorartikel mit der Fotodiode auf ihre Videos gestoßen.
