Stock exhaust versus Leo Vince. First at idle, then brought up to 6000rpm. Taken with the same camera at the same location so you can compare the sound.

  • Question, I'm upgrading from the 250 ninja but didn't want to get something super fast. I'm 5'1, 105 lbs. I have to lower the bike of course, but weight wise will it be to much? I hear its not as quick as a GSXR or R6 which is something I like, is this true? And the riding position is very comfortable?

  • The 650 is more like a standard motorcycle with farings, than a race bike. Super comfortable, long smooth powerband, very easy to ride, narrow for traffic and still pretty flickable for the twisties. It's not going to have the power supersport will, but at 105 lbs it'll move you pretty quick.

  • im bot to buy 1 it's my first bike should i get the 650 to start of on?

  • Lots of folks say it's better to start off on a 250, but I think a 650 is fine to start with as long as you use your head.

  • i just bought a 650 how much did you pay for the exhaust and who makes it

  • Leo Vince exhaust. I picked it up at blueridgeperformance net I also sell fender eliminators... just650s com

  • My first bike was a ninja 650r with a scorpion exhaust. It's fun to learn on and will probably never get old

  • arrow or two brothers...even scorpion exhaust are better for this bike

  • @Jbru456 if your tall and heavy get the 650r if short and small get 250r

but go to local dealer and sit on it,

  • kawasaki ninja ZX6-r 599cc is faster than a 650r 649cc? yes or no? and Why?

  • the 650r is a better bike the sv650 .... im my opinion .

but the sales prove it ...

  • just go for a ZX-14

  • I dunno.... I think you're right but I found a silver 06 and I love it.

  • Hey RichieOTR, this is one of the best comparison vids I've seen. You've got the camera setup in the same position, and the bike's at the same distance - excellent!

I wish more vids were done as thoughtful as yours

  • You're pretty small...

But of course your weight will not be too much. The ninja can take over 200lbs...the less weight the better. And the average I would guess would be around 160 lbs...

105 lbs may whip you around easier. And as Richie said, it's comfortable bike and easy to learn on but you definitely won't get bored on it :)

  • I have exhaust sound on mine too!! Check it out!!
