@330MillionGods India has the same issues in its society. Hassan Nisars whole point is that pakistanis dont behave like muslims, its superficial in general. So religion isnt the problem. BTW, i didnt know india was a hindu or Buddhist country, i thought it was secular. Hassan NIsar also criticised the caste system too. That is part of hinduism. Pakistan was developing up until it got involved in afghanistan, and the domino effect of problems started.

I am an Indian. The fact that Janab Nisar has mentioned is equally true for our society also. These plain facts and brutal realities show how much we have to improve as a society. Read a book "Why we Indians are the way we are".....Pretty much the same analysis. As a society we are sub-optimal because we are too self centric...
