  • pls bring the cup home lord stanleys cup belongs in canada og team

  • I love how he explains EVERYTHING to the audience.

  • Gee, the guy who is head of the Professional Hockey Writers Association is against bloggers having access? Wow! Whodathunkit?!

  • Bob Cole still does Montreal and Ottawa games, and the occasional Leaf game, for HNiC. Harry Neale now works with Rick Jeanarette doing Sabres games, since I believe the 06-07 season.

  • jagoer, usually it has to do with when the game ended. If they have to fill time before the next time slot then they would do something like post game comments. If the game ended past the the time slot they were allotted it would just go right from the game to the next show.

  • The NHL **needs** any coverage that they can get.

More so, the two HNIC guys jumped a major gap -- they admitted that they, too, consult the blogs for news. That's something that most paid media folks won't admit to doing.

  • What's comical in this is the reaction of Kevin Allen -- hockey writers' group head -- how the NHL writers group is going to handle this. Get a clue, dude. Newspapers are going down all over the place, and the NHL has never totally caught on here in the USA. If the NHL doesn't give bloggers credentials, the first amendment won't stop them from blogging. Those in the print and TV/radio media are finally seeing the light - the world is changing, and they can't control it. And..

  • what happened to Bob Cole and Harry Neil
