  • just realized this is out of sync. the original is not, so it must be an upload error. i'll try and replace it soon.

  • interesting no vocals on Chinese. It's a very screamy song, maybe he was trying to conserve the pipes.

  • this would have been shortly after they wrote the tune. they most likely didn't even have lyrics yet, as Robbins has been quoted as saying he usually writes the words last.

  • @MrQuixoteUgly That's probably right. I don't specifically remember playing Forkite sans vocals, but it's the kind of song we may have been comfortable road-testing instrumentally. Thanks for posting; I'd never seen this footage before.

  • Thing I loved about the Jaw Box crew, is that they were so accessible. Meaning that as a stranger you could just go up and talk to them at a show and they were so down to earth. Such a great a group of people.
