@rockshox101avidjuicy Because people like me that have nice Subaru's don't want to drill a massive hole in the front fender to put on a snorkel for crossing one stream. Yes. Do not drive in water. If it rains put car in house. Ps, don't go to tge bathroom cause your human waste gets flushed into tge ground via septic or treatment plan an maybe dumped in rivers or deep well injected thousands of feet into ground where we get out drinking water ( Florida). DONT EVER DO AGAIN!!!! Your air box was about an inch above the water line. First of you started going into the current so the water builds up on the front and rises, and any faster and you would have no ride home. If you want to play in the water get an older Jeep and an intake snorkel.

You make a great point, but my intake is actually not stock, I have an aftermarket cone filter that sits in the old box. It would be pretty tough to get water in there.
