@jorats Awesome, thank you so much for replying! I plan to do that when I get a few ratties. I'm glad to hear it works fine and is as easy to clean as I had hoped. I was afraid I would have to change the fabric every few hours or something. This will be great on my budget, too. lol
I look forward to watching all of your videos! :3

This is a really good idea. It reminds me of a pagoda kind of.
@jorats I'm sorry if you've been asked about this before, I see some comments regarding your fabric cage bedding/lining. I was thinking of using fabric for my rats when I get them in my new apt. I was wondering if it's easy to clean like I think it will be. It would be nice to know from someone who uses it. Just throw the fabric in the washing machine and dryer, yes?

I've been using fleece as my bedding/liner for some time now. I change it every few days, whenever it starts to smell but you also need an odour absorber so I put litter pans in the cage as well with Yesterday's News in it. It works great. My fleece, I shake them out, throw in the washing machine and the dryer. But don't put fleece too long in the dryer. It takes very little drying time in fact, even just hanging to dry works.
