I'd like to disagree with that. There are many drummers that still tap their cymbals. I'm pretty sure the whole point of a ride cymbal is to tap it to get that riding sound out of it. Your not supposed to always fucking crash on a ride. And the people that still tap their cymbals? Jazz drummers and just about every other professional drummer. And please, before you even THINK about replying to my comment, do come back with some better grammar please.
