dude i love alice in chains, and i really really look up to layne staley when it comes to singing. he had alot of good live performances, especailly in 1989 to like early 1992. in between those times you alwyas knew it was gonna be a good show, but then after you never realy knew how layne was gonna sound, and you could always tell when he was high live. which i think has to do alot with the deterioration of his vocals.

he gets there, he is no staley, and i think hes not trying to, this performance in flawless...

Unfortunately I have to agree with mweyburg. I saw them live back in the day and was sorely disappointed.

i hav nothing to say to u mweyburg

its not about hitting the notes it was the passion and emotion that Layne put into these songs that made them what they are
duval isn´t that bad, is as good singer, not as good as Layne but i think duval was a great choice for A.I.C. after Layne.

The vocals aren't bad.. no one can really say Duvall did a bad job, you people are just too attached to the idea of how good Layne's voice was.. yeah, Duvall doesn't have that nice raspy voice.. but he still hits the notes.
