Dawkins has probably put more work into looking for God than just about anyone on Earth. He simply cares about the truth. Many people seem to forget that when they attack him. I am a Christian, but I can understand his view on some things and he is about 4,000 times smarter than most people so they should atleast listen to him.

Craig is a good debater like Johnny Cochran is a good lawyer, both good at stretching reality until they reach the conclusion they initially intended to reach. Truth has no bearing at all for either of them.

yes god created the universe. the evidence...all around you. what makes up the complexity and energy that created the universe? some intelligent energy field.

Well I should say that I refuse to accept faith as fact or a legitimate method of gathering information. And yes I know that this series of comments have probably thrown up a red flag to a couple of christians out there. For those people I will be glad to talk to you. message me on here. But I can give you almost complete garuntee that i can not be converted.

I think that it would be possible to "convert" one of those people that call themselves athiest because they think it's cool. Those people are easy to convert because they dont really know the information and the way of thinking that a person who does a lot of research on the subject. However, those like myself that do the research and enjoy the persuit of information and the exchange of information, I honestly do not believe can be converted because I refuse to accept faith.

Thats what should happen. There is no amount of debate that should be able to shake someones faith ( provided that it is a legitimate faith) because faith is an absolute belief that this is real in the absence or even despite the evidence. Therefor I should not be able to shake your faith no matter what evidence I can proive you with. In the case of trying to convert a non-believer into a believer, I'm not sure that is possible. Not truely possible anyway.........

I dont see why everybody is so concerned with debating with everyone else. Sure, a good debate can be entertaining but does it really change anything? I will sit all day and talk to William Lane Craig and he can put all the evidence he has out there but honestly, at the end of the day, Im still not going to bieleve the bible is real.Just like Im sure that I could sit all day teach you the big bang theory and the theory of evolution at the end of the day I bet you will still bieleve in god right?

REASONS FOR NOT DEBATING

1 - I would lose and would lose my celebrity

2 - my book sales would plummet

3 - atheism would get a good kick where it hurts

4 - I prefer attacking whacky preachers who look stupid or extreme on camera but would rather not debate with someone of intelligence

5 - I am a Dork
