Game Sound didnt come out.. but your not missing much, just crickets in the background, and swords chops that sounds like a hammer on a crate..

@aanimeaddicttgabe yea i noticed i really didnt explain why it didnt get a Zero.. to all those curious.. its because the graphics at that time were a huge leap, home systems never really had the graphics that arcades had..this was one of the 1st hints that home games were changing to compete with arcades. Also this is one of the 1st games to promote and use Gore.. I actually beat the game in my youth (dont know how) , once you get used to it, its not ALL that bad.. but still not worth it.

check out for example the razorsoft titles... there were also a lot of pc ports. it was incredible because most of this stuff hadn't been seen outside of arcades or high end PC's. console gamers were blown away, and it earned the genesis a reputation as a more "adult" and edgy console

to use potions you have to pause the game. you can combine different potions for different effects. yeah, the game is way too hard, takes a ton of patience, but it's beatable. the graphics at the time were amazing and the gore shocking (especially for console fans), the gameplay not so much. a lot of early genesis games were in this mould (apart from the ones sega made, which were mostly arcade ports or sequels to arcade classics or master system titles)
