"annoying rev limit beep" is actually very helpful at the track. When you don't have time to look at the gauges the beep lets you know there is only 200 rpm left to the rev limiter cutout. I was critical of Lexus' decision to go with an automatic trans but after driving some hot laps in an ISF at Las Vegas Speedway road course I'm changing my mind. At least as a track car, an ISF with direct-shift trans is a potent weapon. Look out M3!

Stu Hayner is a great racer and a great guy. He was an instructor for the Lexus Performance Driving Experience in Fort Worth years ago. I can honestly say that I am a better driver because of Stu.
The Lexus IS F is an amazing car! Can't wait to drive one myself and go for a hot lap.
