  • @Jons01 Finally another Bee Gees fan who knows what hes talking about. I love the Bee Gees, always have. They have some of the best, heartfelt music ever written, even those written for artist. I think the Bee Gees were the greatest band ever. Even better than the Beetles.

  • I never knew all these years that Maurice could hit those great fascetto notes. What a group.

  • @Holymakinaw You are obviously a kid who doesn't really know what you are talking about. For that reason I am able to forgive you your ignorance. In the future, instead of arguing emotions, try arguing facts. I am a Beatles freak, have been since the 70's (you probably weren't even born yet) and am able to defend the Bee Gees DUE TO my love of The Beatles. I'm not some emotional fan who fails to appreciate any other musical group. You should try it. You might find other music that is good.

  • @Holymakinaw How quaint that your momma taught you how to call names...she should have taught you to do your research. If you did your research, you would know that what I say is true. The Bee Gees have had much more influence on music--for FIFTY YEARS--than the Beatles. The Beatles introduced rock n' roll but the Bee Gees introduced a helluva lot more. Once you grow up, you'll realize that. But in the meantime, do some research because to fans, you are making a fool of yourself.

  • To all the fools who havent a clue, the Bee Gees had the best selling record b4 mj thriller. They have had more top ten hits, written top ten hits for other artists, and have been singing and writing music longer than any other band. So b4 u call anyone an idiot get a clue fools. Btw the Bee Gees are also the most sampled band. That for all you hater beatles fans.

  • @dalsnsetters LMFAO!! What kind of mouth-breathing MORON could think that the Bee Gees could compare in any way, shape or form, to the most influential rock band of all time??? Too funny. IDIOT.

  • @Holymakinaw Clown. They have outlasted the Beatles and pretty much any other group that is in existence or has existed. You obviously have not done your research because they started composing songs in the early 60's, well before disco. Society was shocked when they "went disco" because they were known for ballads and love songs. Disco was the result of their British interpretation of soul music (Barry called it "black soul" in an interview once). Do your research, please. Idiot.

  • Reading through the comments here and am quite surprised at the haters!! The Bee Gees are now approaching fifty years of music making and composing. That record surpasses pretty much any other group around, or defunct--including The Beatles (and I am a Beatles freak). The Brothers Gibb have had such a profound impact on music, even today their disco songs are considered classics despite the "disco haters." RIP Maurice and Andy....love you both!

  • Heeere we are In a room full of straaangers Discussing politics And the issues of the daaaaAAAYYY! Well, I want to talk to you Though you may not want me to! I'm still gonna taaalk to you I don't care what you saaaay! Talkin' it up! On the Barry Gibb Talk Show Talkin' about issues Talkin' about real important issues! Talkin' it up! On the Barry Gibb Talk Show Checkin' out politics In this crazy, crazy tow-ow-ow-own! Oh, yeah-ah! Yeah! YEAH! YeAH!
  • Gotta love the BEE GEES!!!! Best song eva!

  • @jwk290 Yes, their simplistic pop/disco melodies and grade 8 lyrics about dancing and jiving on Saturday nights compares well to THE BEATLES.

    That's right.

  • These dudes ricked and I mean better than the Beatles! These dudes can actually sing!
