Kim + Jeff Turn 40 Kayaking at the Trinity River Adventure Inn

This video shows how two guests celebrated turning 40. They left the kids at the grandparents' and came up to stay in a cool, rustic cabin less than an hour away. We took them down the river for their first time and they did really well. It was a neat birthday presnt to themselves.

Trinity River Adventure Inn is a dog-friendly, non-smoking establishment with two river locations and six cabins. All are on a spectacular piece of riverfront property. Each cabin is private in its own right, yet all can be rented for a large group, affording complete privacy.

Spring through fall, kayak on fun, safe Ocean Kayak sit-on-tops. Lessons, rentals and guided trips are available with your hosts, Steph Dutton and Heidi Tiura, as are raft trips. Spring-summer fishing is excellent on the lakes, rivers and streams. Fall-Winter steelhead and salmon fishing are incredible. Your guide can pick you up at your cabin.
