Burning Man 2009 by Tao Ruspoli and the Laughing Mongoose Team
Tao Ruspoli, Paul Forte and the Lafco/Mangusta team made this amazing Burning Man short doc featuring Daniel Pinchbeck and (cough cough) Scott Beibin, as well as a cast of other dusty denizens of the desert. Enjoy!

Good short.
On top of that I am stoked because for a few seconds starting at 4:12 (while Daniel Pinchbeck is talking) it cuts to view where you can see my 50' tower art installation (The Tower of Emergence).

I've been hearing people, including Tao, rave to me about Burning Man for years now, but every time I see photos or film of this event it just looks like pure hell on earth to me. I also find it ironic that Tao used to talk about how he wasn't really into the 60s hippie thing and how outmoded it was, and yet he totally embraces this burnt-out cliche version of it, replete with middle-aged stoner dude playing bad acoustic guitar. South Park would have a field day with this festival!
