This is how we spend our Thanksgiving.

Our church purchased over a 1000 tubs so that we could fill them up with a Thanksgiving meal. (1 tub per family in need)

We have a list to buy from and included is a gift certificate for a Turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving!

  • I belong to Women on Missions. We have a monthly outreach project and it is so rewarding! This month we are ministering to foster parents and foster children with a luncheon and game day.

  • Oooooh thats awesome! When I did this video, I debated - should I post it or not. I didn't want to boast about my volunteer work but I wanted to give others the idea that they can help no matter how small it is. We need to work with each other and for those to can't do it for themselves. We volunteer to clean the local shelter and we spend a lot time volunteering at the Humane Society and animal rescue too. Its such a blessing!

    Take care and God Bless!

  • Sooooooooo worthwhile .

There is MORE happiness in GIVING

  • Awe very cool!!

  • I love this

  • Awe Dudean, very cool!

We do it at Christmas too and we use to buy presents for children but now we focus more on feeding them, and making sure they have a warm place to sleep.

I have been working on making warm blankets to give to those on the streets. Its not much but its made with love and hopefully keep someone warm.

    Take care my friend!

  • we (in the Netherlands) do this with Xmas and give money to the churches or institutions that helps out people in need, five stars my friend!
