Fun Times on the West Slope w/ a Loud NS 16E @ Portage, PA

**WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY!**
6/28/09: After the shorter than short 20G pounded east up track 2, the West Slope was DEAD for the next 2 hours. When light helpers 3343 and 3354 went downhill after the 20G, we knew that SOMETHING big was coming our way...we just didn't know when. 2 hours later, none other than the 16E called a clear signal at CP-SO, 7 miles away in South Fork, with the distinct secondary "Clear!" after the 16E conductor called the SO signal...thats right, the 16E had helpers today!!
At THIS point...we started freaking out. Not only was the 16E going to be the first train in 2 hours...it was going to be a LOUD train to signify the end of the lull. And WHAT helpers did the 16E have that evening? YOU guessed it! The 3343 and the 3354!!

Yea dude its always a great feeling, 10 times better when you're actually there.
If you want em go out and get em now, cuz those units aren't gonna be shoving trains over that mountain for much longer, there's only 10 of em left at the moment if I remember correctly.
