My tribute to all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, the area around our nation's capitol, and the brilliant music of Mark Isham.

  • I wonder what software and hardware he used to create this.

  • I used an Applied Magic Screenplay to edit this photomontage. It's a stand-alone editing unit.

  • I agree - a beautifully haunting (masterpiece) of an instrumental ! Nice job of marrying appropriate scenes to fit the musics mood ! ! ! -- Might give the following a try: Brooklyn Funk Essentials - Take the L Train (To 8th Avenue) - (video creator) = DannyLinden. (Dont judge a book by its title). Like or dislike (?) - the briefest comment to me about my suggestion - Id find interesting. Best Wishes

  • I really liked " Take the L Train (To 8th Avenue) Thanks for turning me on to it.

  • The first time I heard this, I fell in love with it. What I see in my mind's eye is the flight of an American Bald Eagle soaring over our land free, unharmed and majestic. Mark Isham is an excellent composer and musician. I have several of his CD's which listen to over and over. Thank you for sharing this remarkable video.

  • I was born in America. I have always been free and always will be. We were free 200 years ago and we are free today. All wars in the past 200 years plus were NOT about freedom or the fight on terror, which is a lie, and proven so. I know hundreds of veterans that are proud to be Americans for what it is SUPPOSED to be in which this song's creation represents. But they are completely against the real agendas of what started wars like Vietnam and Iraq/Afghanistan. Bring the troops home!

  • I will agree , loved this since i heard it in Los angeles at the time.

  • Great job. I have always loved that Isham piece.

  • I have loved this terrific Mark Isham tune ever since the very first time I heard it several years ago. After countless listens, it still gives me shivers. This video is a fantastic accompaniment. It is among the very greatest 8 minutes of entertainment I have ever experienced!

  • 2 people are communists......

  • Thanks to you ! -- Definitely a pleasure ! -- Where I first became aquainted with this music -- a PBS broadcast program - “The Making of Liberty” - A superb production about the complex restoration project of the Statue of Liberty, the culmination of that project was the July 4, 1986 unveiling ceremonies New York harbor. -- world wide web. GPIfilms. com

  • Remember that these men fought for liberty when rights are being taken away by the government in Wisconsin, and when women who miscarry are being threatened with murder charges. Fight for your rights and honor the sacrifices they made!

  • 2 people hate americans why would anyone dislike this tribute
