The Baboon, Elephant and Camels of Circus Roma

These poor animals were kept outside a small traveling circus, the Circus Roma, in Port Mazarron, a coastal town of southern Spain. The sole asian elephant looked dirty, lame, depressed and has some kind of eye problem. The rest were little better: there's a lonely baboon stuck in a crummy little cage, two camels that seem to keep the elephant company, and a truckful of big cats that have WAY too little space or stimulation. The cats are on another video of mine; this is just the others, starting wtih the baboon right after I snuck into its truck/cage and gave him (or her) a peach, and the elephant and camels a watermelon. The elephant was listlessly nibbling on some moldy-looking hay, barely reacting to our presence, until I threw the watermelon near it. Even though it is unchained, it wouldn't step off its little wooden platform to reach it better; most likely knowing it will get beaten if it does. It ate some, the camels got the rest. The baboon saw it all and called out hungrily; I ran back to the car and got him a peach, which he seemed to enjoy, as you can see.
But who knows how many years these fellow animals have spent in undeserved imprisonment under these revolting conditions just to entertain people once a night.

Please don't support these kinds of circuses and spread the word to everyone else you know about this problem. Thanks.

These traveling caravans of cruelty are a heartwrenching spectacle. The despicable profiteers who cage, confine, and deprive animals of their natural instincts exploit these creatures for profit. Nothing gives them the right!

Animals are not ours to use for human entertainment!

2. And even if you were "backstage" at a circus, you only saw what they wanted you to see.

Did you ever wonder where the animals stay at night? (barren little cages) Or how they are trained to do their tricks? (with whips, chains, bullhooks and punishment). Or what kind of life they have traveling much of the year, living in boxcars or trucks? Even zoos have a tough time making proper habitats for animals; circuses fail miserably and are no place for the animals you say you love to live..

I see from your channel that you like rodeos, so I'm guessing that you're a daughter of one of the rodeo people who were out at Rowell a few weeks ago.

I'm betting that you're really angry about my Rowell junior rodeo video; am I right? if so you should just come out and say it, instead of leaving comments on my other videos.

Have you ever traveled around the world? I have; and have seen lots of circuses, and trust me, they are no place you'd want an elephant or other animal to live.

Not all Circuses abuse Animals! I been to a circus been backstage an seen the animals rode an elephant and were just fine!

Yes! I just saw IgualidadAnimal's new video about it... talk about sweet justice! It was absolutely wonderful to see. I only wish the Circus Roma owner would have to spend the same number of years in the same crappy little cage... now THAT would be justice.

Great job, IgualdadAnimal-- Equality for all Animals! Tell circuses to stop exploiting them and join the 21st century. DON'T go to any with animals.
