When my father-in-law, the Rebbe, was freed in Leningrad, he stated: "It was not myself alone that G-d redeemed, but every Jew, even those who are Jews in name only."

Miracles did not cease in ancient times. In 1927, the Communist regime, after hounding his educational activities and incarcerating him, suddenly changed course and expedited the Rebbe's release and exit from Russia, together with his family and his precious manuscripts -- an overt miracle.

Likewise, whenever Jewish observance is challenged, any Jew can muster the determination needed to prevail, because he is connected, at his essence, to G-d.

Even a Jew born and raised in a secular environment, before he was born, an angel taught him the entire Torah; so nothing could be more innate. Returning to the Torah way of life is simply a return to the true path of his own family for generations and centuries before him -- a return to his own essential identity.

Simply phenominal! A monumental zikui HaRabim. The Rebbe's message is exactly what we need to hear today. Yesher Koach!!

  • Not necessarily. Do a Google search about Catholics who have discovered through research and talking to their families that they're crypto Jews or Anusim.

Generations of people who were coerced into becoming Catholic are learning they're Jewish

  • My Rabbi - Rabbi Dr. Michoel Dovid Holland, shared this with me.

The Rebbe said there are 2 types of Jews:

    1) Those who are Jewish

    2) Those who are Jewish but don't know it.

    As for me, I'm #2...

  • GOD DOES NOT FAIL!! GOD KEEPS HIS WORD!!

  • thank you for the comments, i will do some research on your leads. I wont change my believes even if I find out I wass jewish or Not, but is good to know where we come from right?...

    ;)

  • Interesting comment..

Arabs,Jews, are from 1 ancestor&but for those who migrated to Europe-its difficult to distinguish them. .

Jesus, was born a Jew&worshiped the God of the Jews in those days. Later, ppl of that region followed the teachings of Jesus; proclaiming him Messiah. These ppl. were mostly Jews but Arabs, greeks, &later romans joined them&the rest is Christian history.

Strangely, You can be a Muslim or Christian Arab. ..A jew from Arabia. But not a Jewish Arab...LOL.

    peace

  • You dont understand what the Rebbe saying at all, he says that every Jew whether secular or Religious had ancestors who followed the Jewish Laws and traditions.

  • I dont understand.. is he saying tha everyone is jewish... I dont know my ancestors but my great grand mother did cover her head when she went to church. but the ones i know of are catholic. One aunt claims that our ancestor who arrived in Santa Barbara were jewish, but when I look at my mother and my daugther they look like arabic to many. I do read the books of the old testament,, but the truth is that in my heart i know that Jesus is the messiah the son of God. I gues i cannot be jewish.
