I do a lot of crazy stuff in this video in which many of them only occur once. Judge me, take from me, rate me, comment me...this is what i do when im in the zone, ready to play what ever hits me at the time.

People will say i play like a professional with passion n all this and theyve said it to me in person... but it doesnt change my attitude towards my love for the instrument or deter me from trying harder or telling myself "I've done the best I can do, its time to move on and forget about music", as if to say "I've completed this task, lets conquer something new" ... no.

I do this because it makes me feel good, and i think all musicians alike bond with the biggest aspects of music which are their feelings, giving them a groove. Many times a person will gravitate to music because of a person they've heard or a certain something that they heard somewhere sometime or whatever, other times its the sound and look of the instrument.

Music, with great respect to the bouzouki, has given me a quality of life, passionately, that i plan to live for the remainder of my life. Its not one singular thing i feel for music because its just so vast, but im good at it and i plan to be better.

Lately for me its been a journey to get things done and set serious goals to get what i want out of life, and doing this takes time. Im probably coming across really methodical and straight, but its time to grow up and grab life by the "...." !!! I encourage everyone to get their thoughts out of their heads, onto the keyboard, and into my comments section for this video or my e-mail inbox or wherever and tell me what you think. Call me a prick or tell me im beautiful lol just give me some feedback!

Always a pleasure and thanks for continuing to watch.

  • For now the best advice would be to listen to the big players you admire, and copy their solo's as best you can without adding anything extra and then add your own thing once you develop a good grounding.

You are fast and clear so put it to good use.

    Nase kala.

  • Hi Dimitri

Thanks for posting on my profile.

I think you are familiar with the dromous but it's how you mix them together and learning some tasteful changes from one dromo (scale) to another. You cannot change randomly in this way as the key signatures are completely unrelated to one another. continued...

  • There is nothing wrong with the bouzouki. Study your dromous and do not change without structure from key to key. It is very confusing.
