This is the German theme song for the Japanese anime Sailor Moon.
I'll be posting the English-language version of the German theme song for this Japanese anime soon.
Confused yet?
OK, I looked up the lyrics and here they are:
Sag das Zauberwort und du hast die Macht
Halt den Mondstein fest und spür die Kraft
Du kannst es tun!
Oh Sailor Moon
Kämpfe für den Sieg über Dunkelheit
Folge deinem Traum von Gerechtigkeit
Du kannst es tun!
Oh Sailor Moon
Sag das Zauberwort und du hast die Macht
Halt den Mondstein fest und spür die Kraft
Du kannst es tun!
Oh Sailor Moon
Kämpfe für den Sieg über Dunkelheit
Folge deinem Traum von Gerechtigkeit
Du kannst es tun!
Oh Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon
Oh Sailor Moon
Mondstein flieg und sieg, es ist soweit!
Oh Sailor Moon
and it repeats a lot after that.
And translated to English, that would be:
Say the Magic word and you have the might,
Hold the Moonstone firm and feel the force!
You can do it!
Oh Sailor Moon
Fight for victory over darkness,
follow your dream of justice.
You can do it!
Oh Sailor Moon
Say the Magic word and you have the might,
Hold the Moonstone firm and feel the force!
You can do it!
Oh Sailor Moon
Fight for victory over darkness,
follow your dream of justice.
You can do it!
Oh Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon
Oh Sailor Moon
Moonstone fly and win, the time has come!
Oh Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon
Oh Sailor Moon
and again there would be a lot of repetition.
i love wool scarfs.

@WoolScarfs
They look good, and can help keep you warm even when wet. Most materials lose all insulation value when wet, but wool still maintains some of that value.

Well, I think the line
"Mondstein flieg ung sieg!"
is better translated as
"Moonstone fly and prevail!"

@Exundhob
That seems to fit the feel of the song better.
I don't actually speak German, so I can't really say.

@SailorBarsoom: As I remember it is the phrase she says throwing her tiara to defeat the enemy.

@Exundhob
Ah, then that would make more sense.
