@thesuperduperbloke Paula used to call him uncle, and Jerry trained with Bruce in class and at Bruces house. Jerry also taught at Dan's school. How does what you say make sense?

Bruce Lee did not want JKD to be a style, as soon as they copy and copy then it is a style, JKD was a philosphy man. Bruce wanted to show techniques and methods, he did not want people to turn his philosophy into a style, Bruce wanted people to learn what fitted them.
