This short clip is taken from a long lost 20 minute film made in 1950 featuring Kel Jeffrey who was, in his time, a very well known Australian horse trainer. His methods proved very successful and some of them still survive today with other trainers. The dvd we made from the film shows that this 50 year old programme is obviously NOT current cinema standard, nor would you expect it to be! However the vision and sound are perfectly acceptable. • That's amazing!!

  • Well it's like lots of things in life. There's them that can...and them that can't. Kel Jeffrey was a legend the like of which we rarely see and he COULD train horses...and in the 'kindest' way you're ever likely to see. Though he's not around anymore, he's left a powerful legacy.

  • Thanks for your comments. The full dvd is available at our H10 Products For Horse Lovers EBay store.

  • hes got a good training way. didnt like the way he was pulling the reins at 2:58

  • sadly today we see totally different, horrible ways of breaking horses :( And when u comment "poor horse!" they yell back "have u tried riding nonbroken horse?! then keep ur mouth shut!" That´s because I think training a horse should take 2-4yrs :( not 2-4 days!

  • thsanks a bunch for posting this!!!!
