Here's my idea (for a way more powerful design):
Let's assume all the pipe used, was rated for 140 psi.
Use a union, and a burst disk set to rupture at around 100-120 psi. Maybe 2-3 soda can cut outs, depending how big the union fitting is. Then fill up the chamber to 80 psi with air, and then fill with CO2 until the disk pops. There's no danger of overfilling, unless if the burst disks are too powerful.

Dude, you could make some Money selling the diagrams of your spud gun. Are you just using propane? And are you igniting it with the trigger or just letting the pressure escape by opening a valve? Because mine is in the shape of a U so it can shoot water, but i use denatured alcohol and it takes a while to reload. Yours was in seconds. That's a brilliant design. Any pointers would be appreciated.

@XWiLDCaRD13X We dreamed it up.We guessed at the size of the chamber and barrel.Welded up the handle and wired one of those gas grill electric starters thru it,you can buy those separately.Go to ur local hardware store get all the PVC,starter and a small coleman gas grill tank,one is all u need,the valve is "jerry rigged" into the chamber with some thick rubber hose.Green PVC not pressure rated! ours lasted 12 yrs tho,I'm sure the tater will come out first before anything happens

how do you make it pressurized and then have it fire when you install a trigger? i want to make one but i don't know how to do this part

She's no ordinary old lady... she's my mom, she hunts deer with rifle and bow and kills 2 or 3 each year!! Venison is sooooo good. Thank you Jesus!!
