I tried streaming MKVS actually. It's too much of hassle to get soft subs to work. I did manage to stream MKVS without the subs though. I gave up and just bought myself an hdmi cable..

@Desugrace Correction, you can. You can stream H.264/MPEG-4 files to stream 720p video to the 360. It took me a while to figure it out. but well worth it.

Yea I downloaded thinking I'd be able to stream some files that were not supported in windows media center, but nope still doesnt work.
