KicKing is timing based football game where the key challenge is to pass the ball through the opposing team's players and score a goal with your Blue team. You only need to control the direction and strength of the passes to play, all the players move automatically to catch the ball.
The game is played over seven rounds with a time limit on each. In every round the placement of the players are different. There are also power-ups you can collect by passing the ball through them.
The score is based on making many successful passes, so daring to pass around the ball and use the time you have to the maximum is key for success.

GAME RULES.
KicKing is timing based football game where the key challenge is to pass the ball through the opposing team's players and score a goal with your Blue team. The game is played over 7 rounds with different starting placements of your and the opposing team's players. Each round has a time limit of 35 seconds. If you do not score a goal before that time or lose the ball the round is over.
When a round starts the ball is always with your goalie at the bottom of the field. You can see how your players are placed in the field on the radar to the left. When the game starts the opponent closest to the ball starts to run towards your ball. You have to complete a pass before he reaches you. Keep passing the ball and make a goal before time runs out.
Your active player has a hexagonal yellow marker around him and a rotating arrow. You do not control the movement of the active player, you only control his next pass. You first set the direction and then the strength of the pass. As soon as you have made the pass the player closest to the pass trajectory will start to move towards the best interception point. If it is a very short pass, this player may also be the passer himself.
When a pass is made two yellow dots will show the ball's path. The small dot shows where it touches ground the first time. Before this point it cannot be intercepted by the opposition as it is in the air. The larger point shows where the ball will stop if it is not caught first. In each round the red team's players will get sligthly faster.
You can already plan for the next pass while the player is moving. This way he will make a direct pass as soon as he reaches the ball. This planning is important to keep the ball away from the chasing red players.
If an opponent intercepts the ball, reaches the final destination of the ball before or reaches your player before you make your next pass you will lose the ball, and the round. If you commit to a pass (release the button to set power) before you reach the ball and reach the ball destination before the opponent you will be able to kick it away even if the computer opponent reaches you before the ball arrives. If you make a pass outside of the game field the round is also over.
There are also 2 different power-ups placed in the field. You have to pass a ball through them to collect a power up, and it will affect all your player for the duration of the round.

STRATEGY.
Pleasing the crowd with many fast passes and a nice final shot is the key to a high score. The fastest route up field does not earn you the most points. At the same time making many passes increases the risk of an bad pass and losing the ball before being able to score. Making these risk / reward choices in the short time allotted for each round is what makes this game challenging.
Keep an eye on the radar to see where your players are as well as where the power-ups are placed. The speed Boost gives you more margin in the passes and allows you to take more risk. But never lose focus on scoring the goal before time runs out!

TIPS FOR IMPROVING YOUR GAME.
Passing to the same player can allow you to move the ball around when there are no good passing opportunities. This is especially a good method to round the opposing goalie for the final shot.
Pick a path through the field where you can collect the power-ups on the way, these give you more flexibility in your play.
