3 How my Parents reacted to me going to the Desteni Farm

So Leila, how did your parents react towards you and your sister coming to the farm. Leila: Well, at first they werent too happy about it because, its in South Africa, Dangerous, youre gonna get raped and killed. But then my mom communicated with Bernard, and after that she was just fine with it. He basically told her what we were gonna do, that they were gonna pick us up, nothing was gonna happen, you know, and that the farm is far away from the city, where all the criminal activities happen. So it was not necessarily that what desteni does that disturbed them, but just the point of youre going to South Africa.

Is this interview done at the farm? I would assume so. How many are at the farm? How many are from Canada or USA? Also I have a cousin in SA and he says there has been much violence in the farm lands as well. Racist attacks on whites.

There's about 21 people at the moment, 10 horses, 10 cats, 12 dogs and a whole lot of chickens lol. There's 1 from Canada and 4 from the USA. Yes, farm attacks are quite often in the newspaper whether racist or not.
