You know, watercolor is water and color, and it takes the right proportion, the right amount of each one to give you the right watercolor that you want. Watercolor always dries back a little you know. Today I'm going to show you how to make a blotter to pick up some of the water before you go to your paper that really has helped me and hopefully, will help you, too.

This is mine that I've used for so long. What you do is take a roll of toilet tissue, take the paper towels and unroll about 3 or 4 feet of paper towels, and then fold it in half just like this. Then lay your toilet tissue on that and roll it up, kind of tight, and there I have my watercolor blotter.

Because watercolor art is water and color, and this helps to control the amount of water.
