@JDMorris81 the hdmi port in your pc is most likely an output, if its from a graphics card its most definately likely to be an output

you can buy the vga xbox cable off ebay for about 3 quid, they work, ive been using it, bet it feels crap to have payed 30-40 quid on an overpriced piece of microsoft shit (no offence intended, just trying to save you precious moneys)

@gunslinge109 hello i am getting a pcmonitor with xbox and all the game and that. and i know how to hook up a xbox to a pc monitor but where does the actual power come from do i have to plug the xbox in to the mains and pug the computer in the mains aswell or just plug the computer in the mains

hey i have both my pc and xbox 360 plugged in to my pc monitor. I wonder if theres like a recording program. Like i turn the recording program on when on the pc screen and then switch over to the xbox 360 screen and it starts recording from there? @oHaiinexD You need additional hardware for that to be possible, check out my channel. I have a video of how to capture console gameplay, it works with any device that outputs with the yellow, red, and white composite format.
